Unlike most conventional cummerbund systems, the Boreal Defence ICSACS is designed with self access & utility in mind. With inverted rearward cells, the user can securely store AR pattern or similarly sized objects closely to their body. Due to the cummerbund's elastic construction, fit can be adjusted rapidly based off of user preferences. With built in provisions for Shock Cord retainers, any upwards or downwards facing pouches can be used without the risk of losing sensitive equipment. Each cummerbund half has texturized lift tabs which can be used standalone or in conjunction with 550 Cord to make donning & doffing the plate carrier easier.Â
